RED 4300 is ready to ship

this come to a surprise... a pleasant one!
this could only mean that RED team is working diligently hard.

My first order was #507, and due to the expansion of the business we need to acquire several more RED (Yes ! I am truly happy with the camera, and no we are not rental), therefore I was bidding every 'RED For Sale' post. Quiet some time ago got a hold on #143 for a hefty premium, and now in bidding for others.

Now with this news, don't think I need to bid anymore... I believe RED provides a better lead time for new order. my #4296 is ready to ship.

I'm looking forward to getting my Red for sure, and I was very surprised to get the email this soon. (Thanks RED! ) However, I thought that the ship date is still a couple of weeks out. (At least that is how I understood the email anyway.) Am I wrong, and I could have my Red ship today if I made payment in full?

yes - how does this work with such a large batch. For example is number 4300 pays right away but I take a couple weeks, do I get put at the end of the Que? Is this a mad dash race. First come first serve? Is it also possible that I pay tomorrow and get lost in a shuffle of others who paid and end up waiting months still?
