True! I'm doing the best that I can do suppose independent film (and we have a lot of it here in Austin), though I don't offer my own set of lenses... I have a friend who has a set of Zeiss primes that he offers for $300/day, and I have a small Angenieux s16mm zoom lens that is good for student and run and gun stuff.

Let me know if you've got a production in the area!

Also, I have had some people asking about a Nikon mount; I hadn't gotten one yet because my DSLR is a canon... is this something I should move on? It's not super expensive, but since I wouldn't use it myself (I'm not familiar with it) I would only consider getting one if 1. swapping it out is relatively easy and 2. there is a high demand for one.

anyone had any experience with renting these?

It's pretty easy to swap out. I also have a set of zeiss zf nikon mount lenses with gears.

The RedAustin.com website went down today for technical reasons  should be back up later today, I hope.

In the meantime, please direct any rental inquiries to innerchildstudios@lycos.com

thanks and sorry for the confusion and thanks for your patience.

This Quote on your website is not quite accurate.

This HD camera does straight-to-harddrive capture of 4k, 2k, 1080p, 1080i, 720p and 480p. It handles up to 60fps (sixty frames/sec) in 4k and one 120fps (one hundred twenty frame/sec) in resolutions of 2k and lower.

You may want to check the specs.

I'm also looking to add some LOMO lenses to my package in the near future, so please mention in your email / PM if that is something of interest.
