SORRY THIS HAS SOLD, BUT WE DO STILL HAVE OUR FULL RED PRO PRIME SET; O'CONNOR 2060 HEAD & STICKS; RED 18-50; AND VEYDRA 4/3RD PRIME SET LEFT IF YOU GO TO OUR OTHER ADS
Price Reduction: Price reduced to $4,700 plus shipping, including the fitted pelican case, after a nice call from a fellow RED guy in the Bay area... and $1,000 for the PL mount zeiss extender that we often use with it, if you want that too.
We are selling our RED 18-85mm T2.8 Pro Cinema Zoom PL mount lens, with Chrosziel 401-32 19mm lens support bracket and arm, and laser cut Pelican 1650 case.
This is a fabulous cinema lens to use, with very precise focussing and zooming by hand or with a follow focus, accurate distance and aperture markings and a good balance - given the size and weight of a cinema lens like this. It doesn't have the longest range of any cinema lens, but it covers 98% of the field of view that you will ever need - especially at the wide end where that 18mm coverage gives a spectacular perspective and terrific depth of field. It's got a nice bokeh, is crisp and sharp but not so crisp it looks digital, and produces an outstanding image that fully covers everything from 6k down to 1080P. It is fairly large and fairly heavy, as all cinema lenses are, but the Chrosziel rod support system is easy to fine tune and rock solid, and the custom laser cut case keeps everything nice and safe. I wouldn't dream of selling it but we are switching out all of our PL mount equipment... and, like all RED lenses, that makes this one a real bargain. Needless to say, the glass and the body are perfect - we baby all of our equipment
To see precisely what this lens can do under difficult conditions, check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBZUlKSXhvk - all of the side and center stage shots were captured with this lens on a RED One M-X, which meant keeping focus and zoom on dancers only 4 feet away from the lens to those 60 feet away, while panning and tilting! That takes a very special lens...
Asking $5,200, OBO, and the lens is in San Francisco
