Red 18-85mm lens

[David Mutchler]

What's going on with this lens? Big Johns FAQ says "18-85 RED PRO (US) - Backordered, limited release end of Summer '08." Is this correct, summer's almost over?

[Eirik Tyrihjel]

summer's almost over?

Not by the calendar used at RED HQ, not at all, still a good 3-8 months left of summer my friend :bleh:

(They do work hard over there, but they are a tad optimistic on their schedules, quite frequently, just learn to live with it... Remember the Prime lenses were announced last year at NAB (2007) for an early 2008 release, by today they are nowhere to be seen - I really want the set... I know i just have to wait...)

[Zakaree Sandberg]
