Selling my trusty Red 18-50 T3 zoom. This lens has been around the world with me, shot Green Day (see the 2010 Red NAB reel, if you can find it!), the Goo Goo Dolls, other famous people, a lot of not-so-famous people, and never missed a beat.
If you own a FS7, FS5, Blackmagic URSA, really any camera with a PL mount, this lens can do entire jobs. Super handy for doc work where you do not know where the day will take you, and it keeps the camera small.
I just spent $650 getting this lens ready for sale with Stuart Rabin of Focus Optics in Burbank, all three rings are silky smooth and there is no play in any of the mechanics. Mechanics better than they shipped new. No dust inside, no fungus, no scratches of front or rear elements.
If you are just getting into the large sensor camera thing, this is a GREAT lens to keep you covered and keep you from dealing with twitchy focus rings on Canon L or Nikkor lenses.
Also focuses very close to about 5" in front of front element.
Since the service cost $650, I'm asking $2700. I don't mind taking a hit on it but I'm trying not to lose my shorts.
Please email me at nate@nateweaver.net. I see PMs here, but getting back to them takes a little longer. Emails are much quicker. Lens is in Los Angeles, avail for local look-see.
