We are selling our RED 18-50mm T3.0 F2.8 Pro Cinema Zoom lens - our "go to glass" for the past few years. The 18-50mm is the older version of the RED wide zooms and covers 4k and 4.5k perfectly, just about covers 5k with a tiny bit of vignetting on some iris/focal length combinations, and forget anything above that. Having said that it is a great lens, one of the earliest ones that was built in the UK, sharp and crisp with a nice bokeh and a warm tone - and smooth and tight after a rebuild at RED a year and a half ago. It also has the unique advantage amongst RED lenses of not only taking large filters on the 100mm outside skirt, but also taking smaller DSLR filters on the inner lens threads - which makes it a natural for run'n'gun applications, but it's also a lens that we are often asked for on studio shoots where Directors really like the simplicity and speed it brings to fast focal length changes. This one has great glass and the body is in excellent condition - and it's smooth to focus and zoom whether you are using a follow focus or hand...
We are asking $4,800, OBO, and the lens is in San Francisco.
