Red 16 CF card unable to mount !

Hi,

I have a red 16 Gb CF that dont want to mount anymore. Ive tried few softwares (disk warrior, data rescue, file savage) and none of those can see the CF.

Lexar reader and firewire800 cable are alright.

Nothing happen, ive transfer the card at home and the day after it was not working. I unmount it proprely before going on set the day after and realize that the card wont load on my computer or in the camera.

any tips ? What the warranty about the card ?

Hi, if the first time that you insert the cf card, you need format this card on the camera first.

Ive been shooting with those for about 4 months... all other Red 16 cf work like a charm.

have you had the firmware on these upgraded? or did you buy them after they started shipping with upgraded firmware?

Humm, dont know, receive them around the 15th of january 2009... didnt have time since then to have a follow up on the firmware upgraded. I thought it was for the first batch of 16gb CF who got problem (before 2009).

Etienne, get the serial number of the card to your tech support rep. But Jan 2009 sounds like old gen firmware to me...
