SALE PENDING. Deposit received.
Hi all. . .
Since we have two cameras ("Lewis" and "Clark"), and we will have finished shooting our film on June 15th, we are reluctantly going to put our beloved "Clark" on the market. He is in truly excellent condition, having been used very little in the making of our feature film, "Works in Progress." (He was the B-camera.) This camera was never rented!
Here's what's for sale with current RED prices.
RED One #1256 (Upgraded audio) $17,500
Compact Flash Reader/Writer $500
Battery charger with two batteries $1450
RED hard drive with cable $1100
Nikon/Underdahl G mount (the upgraded mount that allows you to use Nikon G lenses) $795
5.6" LCD Screen, arm, and cable $1700
Base production pack (minus the 18" steel rods) $1250
Two 18" carbon fiber rods $300
One extra top mount $250
Top handle extension $175
RED handle (left or right. . . which ever one doesn't come with the base production pack; with this you have a pair) $250
Two audio cables (for upgraded audio) $108
Two six-inch steel rods $40
Redrock mattebox with THREE rotatable filter stages (an upgrade), top and side wings $900
Pelican 1660 case $350
Total to buy new: $26,668
I cannot sufficiently emphasize the superb condition of this gear. Most of it looks brand new. You will be shocked at how clean all of this is. As I said, this camera was very, very sparsely used. Neither the camera, nor any of the other gear has any operational or cosmetic issues (except for the Pelican case, which shows a bit of wear).
I am not interested in parting this system out at the present time. I want to keep it all together for the time being. If I do not get sufficient interest as a package deal, I will then relist with individual items available for sale.
I'm going to take offers for the next week or so. If I find an offer acceptable, I will ask the buyer to send me a 10% non-refundable deposit. Payment for the remaining balance can be made at any time. Once full payment (plus shipping charges) clears, I will immediately send the camera and accessories to the new buyer on June 16th.
If no great offers come in via REDUser, I'll list it on Ebay.
Please PM or email with offers and/or any questions. We will certainly hate to see "Clark" go, but it will be over a year before we start to shoot our next film.
