Great footage, I`m just wondering why you chose 2k @ 100fps as apposed to 2k@120fps, was it a technical decision or artistic?

If you're shooting to the Red drive as opposed to CF, the camera makes that decision for you, I think.

Oh yeah, shakey helicopter scenarios probably require CFs, of course. I`ll be sticking to the Red Raid mostly so will be limited to hot air balloons

despite the challenging contrast of bright sun and dark trees/clothes this is an ideal environment to shoot red. Lots of light for less noise and 5600 at that.

2k I only really fear in low light tungsten situations.

Personally -- the last shot was so perfect on the landing that I had to see it 4 times.

Good stuff. Was noticing a little noise on the yellow jacket (shot 2?). Is this compression, or is it in the original?

The noise on the jacket is compression.
