  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED#0031 M-X shoots Hollywood Test MX v R1

Wow, that settles it.
M-X upgrade over here please.

Any idea what original delivery date the upgrade program is up to?
Almost my 2-year anniversary with the R1.

there was a bit of purple tinge in the MX footy. Could likely be the calibration issue that they are working on fixing that Jim mentioned in a previous thread.

later,
Jason

I've heard that a new MX firmware update is due today if it hasn't been sent out to MX camera people already. Hopefully that helps address some of these issues.

I've had the privilege of playing with a few MX clips now and the difference is really amazing.

We are up to serial 600, orders placed up to Feb 18th, 2008 if I'm not mistaken

Wow. Moving along... At the current rate, I'll be able to send mine for upgrade in about 7 to 10 days it seems. :)

...Invoice dates between 1.18.08 and 2.8.08 are beeing upgraded at this time, no serials above 600 in that group...

#476 has left a snowy winter Norway, for a few days under the sun in California :emote_hippie: , wish it was me...

BTW: Seems like quite a few people are playing with M-X R3D files, any links?

Here's a link to some R3D files that Rocket_Scott posted on twitter that were shot with the M-X sensor.

Can anyone replicate these flares? Are we sure this is a lens issue?

Looks like lens flare. I think the camera was filming at a slightly different angel for the M-X shot and that's why the headlights flared differently than the first clip.
