record fault?

On most recent RED shoot we kept getting a record fault fairly often. This is a brand new camera and it happened with both of the Hard drives, which are both new.

Is this a drive issue? Do we need to do bad sector check like when installing new HD in a computer?

I've done a lot of RED shoots with drives and never had this problem.

What kind of record fault? If the camera is hanging on POST sometimes unchecking the 'QT proxies' box will fix this.
