  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi everybody,
First of all, sorry for my English, is no my native language. Well, my problem is that I don´t know how to reconform to Native or Prores 422 HQ in final cut, when I worked all my edition with proxys to send to color. We shooted in 2K and worked with F proxy quality. The reason I choose to work with proxys, is the time that take to convert to Apple Prores 422 HQ with a lot of material. Also I did some tests sending a sequence edited with proxys (F quality) to Color, but the problem was that in color some cuts did not appear and when I rendered color repeat frames...

Welcome Rodrigo! Great first post--you are in deep!

There is a bug in Color that doesn't like R3D clips that are greater than 1 file (ie any "take" that is longer than 2GB). Hans and Nick just wrote this app to work around it--instructions on use are in the thread--so far it works perfectly: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26774

In terms of reconforming, you could use Hans' other app, ClipFinder. A quick search will reveal instructions on use etc.
