What insurance brokers do you guys recommend in the UK for insuring one's RED camera and accessories?

DD.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Getting quotes now.

Any other recommendations?

Curious - best in what way?

Competitive, resolve claims quickly and have staff who understand the equipment in question. Im told they also insure a number of unusual media projects for which may not fall under other companies normal terms. Ive just found them to be very good and reliable over the years.

I've found Quartz very helpful in in the short time (8 months) we've been using them, good pricing too

Previously used AON. Now with ACJ and also used them for a feature insurance package. Excellent staff who really understand that business.

We've had a few inquiries from potential clients asking if we could have the camera kit couriered to them, and picked up, but this isn't something ACJ allows, as they require us to verify the client's identification documents with the client in person, and if the client can't get to us, because they're based at the other end of the country, for instance, then both parties miss out.

Do any of you guys know of an insurance company -- or any of the aforementioned -- that doesn't require a client's identification documents to be crosschecked with them in person?

Hiscox Insurance via Quartz Brokers will do this so far as Im aware.

Ive just been given an awesome quote from Quartz, and probably going to go with them.
