I'm looking for recommendations on who can "frame" custom round glass. (prefer not to, ahem, hollywood them with gaf tape)

Basically I have 72mm round bare glass and want to get a metal frame bound around them and threads added for screw mounting onto lenses.

or perhaps, a larger metal rim mount that can be held in place by a series 9 filter holder.

this is a small batch, maybe 6 lens tops.

Before I start calling around to the usual suspects, I thought I'd ask here :coolgleamA:

I would consider adapting step rings which already have the threads. Then have someone with a Cnc. mill or router cut a retainer ring to hold the glass in place. If you need to trim the glass, try an optician who has glass grinding equipment in his store.
