Hello Everyone,
I have a VO artist that is going to perform a Japanese translation read for a Red commercial project I shot/edited this past summer and he is asking me to book a recording studio for him, in the L.A. area- maybe near Westwood. I am from the upper mid-west and I find myself at a bit of a disadvantage by just relying on Google to choose, as he is quite professional (he did voice work on Letters From Iwo Jima) and I'd like his time to go smoothly. Right now, I am looking to Koala Studios.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of places that are good quality, but reputable and fair. This is my first time booking studio time, since in the past for me, the artists have always had that set up from their end. Also, any insight is appreciated, (things to watch out for, etc.) in addition to recommendations.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Dustin
