Is there anyway to set which monitor Redcine takes over on a dual monitor display?

if you dont like the one it chose, switch the inputs...but there may be a better way....

On a Mac you can move the menu bar before starting RC.

Mine defaults to my non-menu bar monitor, which is great as I can do other things while running RC.

Not sure if that's what it always did or if I tricked it months ago.

I think it chooses the higher res monitor regardless of the menu bar. At least that's what it used to do. A workaround is to lower the resolution of the monitor you don't want it to use just before you launch.

Sorry, my fault (haven't used RC in a while). Yes, lowering the resolution of the unwanted screen is the trick you need.

Also u can hit "fn-F11" to set it to render in background.
