No Insurance Recession Special RED Package with DIT NYC

Daily- $450 fully equipped camera with DIT included- YES the DIT is INCLUDED in the package price; that's how you're getting out of insurance.

$100 more for all the lights (see below for package details). - present a valid student ID and I'll throw in the lights for free with your camera rental

Weekly (7 days)-$2200 with DIT included.

$500 more for the complete lighting kit for the week. Students, if you present a valid student ID your rate on adding the light kit to your package would be $250.

We're hoping this helps you guys! We have an early number for the MX sensor so keep us in mind regarding this as well

Thanks Shawn, I have already messaged an admin to hopefully change the username. I was unable to troubleshoot how to edit this, ironically changing just about anything else including your profile, email registry and password shows right up.

It seems that very few people (not aiming this personally at you, RSR) actually read the forum rules, not even the first paragraph in bold, before checking the box that says they have read and agree to abide by the rules, and hitting the register button.

A while ago, I would have suggested that they add some sort of "Are you SURE you are using your real name?" prompt, but I don't think people would pay much attention to that, either!

For the time being at least, RSR, you could add your real name into your signature.

Sure, of course he should have the most complete coverage possible, but really, when is that ever enough? I'm not trying to beat on him over his rates. There are guys in my area that are even cheaper. :crazy: But renting your gear out to a production without insurance, even if you have some, is just plain stupid. Even if I just bring myself, no equipment, I don't show up and work on an uninsured production. That is a major red flag... Just sayin' Of course, that's just my opinion. If he's OK with it, then I'm OK with it I guess. It just doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense.

Thank you very much for your concern, but I thought this forum was specifically setup for renting out our services, not discussing whether my renting procedures are in tune with yours.
