  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Recap January 22, 2011...

Not trying to be negative here so don't take my intentions wrong. But seldom do maiden flights go as planned. Have their been any serious problems with any cameras on current shoots?

No problems on Spiderman... 4 weeks of shooting. Mark stated that he did not have one problem. I'm comfortable that we are ready for Primetime.

The list of features is impressive. They are certainly convinced that we are ready. We are now talking about $2B worth of major movies...

Im very excited to see all of these productions on the big screen.
It's going to be amazing.

Hope one of those future movies are shot somewhere close by. Would love to get on set as an extra just so I could observe.

Thanks for the update, Jim. I'm glad that all the hard work and vision, of everyone at Red, is paying off. Good to hear about Titans 2, I look forward to reading the names of the others. From this point forward, I can't see any major 3D film not shooting on EPIC. The size and weight alone makes the decision easy. The EPIC is a sexy looking camera, the quality of the images is an added bonus. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

(gulp) I feel... unworthy.

But I'll get over it by the time my Epic(s) ship.

Please tell your manufacturing plants to work as hard as your team has so we can all have them soon! I could have added 4 more major features to your list if they were out a year ago.

The best moment in your life is... what's next.

I personally like this kind of "recap" and would like to see it become a monthly thing regarding the status of the company.

Ok, I'll delete this message here pretty soon now that management have seen it...
