If you monitor in Rec709 and then flick to Raw View using an assigned EVF button, when you switch Raw View off again you are switched to monitoring RedSpace. To get back to Rec709 you then have to go through the menus, which is slow and annoying. Obviously if you are monitoring RedSpace this isn't an issue, just with Rec709. I'm on v3.2.5.

Yes, we know about that bug.. its fixed in Build 17.

Good to know. Thanks Stuart

Would be great to have some kind of indicator on screen which color space is active. Is this planned for 17? (Sorry if this has been answered before).

Great news that it is fixed in 17. View raw is great, but a lot of people I work have gotten used to REC709 and they under expose with redspace.

An onscreen indicator would be great.

I've also noticed that if I shoot in REC709 mode then open an R3D in Red Alert, the setting for colorspace will be REC709 instead of camra rgb. Is that intentional?

I hope so,

I was wondering if there was a preference to default the Color Space to a particular one, In the old Red Alert 3.36.. Maybe? If I set it once it stayed forever... in 3.5 I guess it defaults to Rec709, or the Color Space set on the camera.

I only just discovered the bug today and was going to post but I see others have discovered it already.
I like the idea of an on-screen or rear LCD confirmation of this. It would be a simple way to confirm what we're looking at.
Cheers,
Harry
