Hey FilmGang

I was hoping to use these on an upcoming project just wanted to check if anyone had put them on the RPPs

http://www.filmtools.com/iring.html

I know they are cheap but shipping, customs etc to canada and I just wanted to ensure that they would work as they website says they only work with certain lenses.

Thanks

These don't say they are compatible with pl mount lenses. From the description:
"The i-Ring fits over the rear of most standard 2/3" video lenses, B4 mount DV, Beta and Hi-Def cameras and lenses."

So I doubt they would work

Hey Matt

It also says

Fits Canon, Fujinon, Optex and Angenieux Lenses.

And the photos look like the
mounts to a PL lens, no?

You can put nets on the back of PL. The big risk is the net will start to rip - especially if it's a Dior silk stocking (now rarer than solid gold aircraft). I seem to recall seven dennier was the most sought after - there was a guy selling pieces of them online for about fifty bucks for a couple of inches.
