  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Real World Experience of Nikon 17-35mm

I've been shooting virtually every day for the past 3 months using my Red and the 17-35mm on a doc. Agree, 17-55mm would prevent me from swapping out lenses at times. I often find myself needing just that little bit more in doc situations. But the 17-35 has treated me very well with stellar results.

Also, I do like that Doug has come out with this "G" mount adaptation. He is one person that certainly has delivered. I hope the mount is a little more secure then the previous mount though. I still find mine a little iffy even after those little rubber bits were sent to me to make the mount more snug, but I am very careful with the lens/mount and results are great.

My personal hesitation in going with "G" lenses is the fact that I constantly use a DSLR as a second camera for timelapse and on a DSLR with "G" lenses doing timelapse you will get flicker. FYI
