Anyone have any insight as to how well the ready rig would perform if using with a shoulder rig?

Saw the footage of it and it looks like the arms may be too long, has anyone been able to make it work?

You can't use it with a shoulder rig as the ready rig pole goes over your shoulder. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the ready rig as it puts a ton of pressure on your shoulders vs the easy rig.

Most don't put the ReadyRig on properly. There should be no pressure on the shoulders at all. It should be all on the hips.

I don't agree with this, all the weight goes on my hips when I use the Ready Rig. I don't think you had it setup properly.

Ahh I see.

Has anyone used it for purposes other than gimbal support? I would like to use it for the gimbal but was wondering if it could be used the same way a camera would clip to the easy rig from the top handle.

I've been experimenting with this a little. I just used a single arm and hung the camera from it.
Works "ok" but still haven't made it work great.
The issue i have is it pulls the camera off to one side and the length of the arm is an issue.
I can't see it working at all for a shoulder rig.

I find the idea of the Easy rig with the flowcine arm appealing
because you can go from stix, to shoulder rig to Easy rig without tearing
the camera rig down and setting up a Ronin.

Here's my DIY rig.....I bought the Pro Arms for the RR to use with a Movi, that gave me two extra original arms. I zipped tied the to arms together for lots of strength, bought two extra RR straps (39.00), and bolted on a Ronford Baker QRP with a piece of aluminum on the bottom of the arms......and there it is.....handheld support, perfectly balanced on a sliding base plate, no time going from sticks to HH and back again. Makes the RR a great multi function tool, not just for gimbal use.
