I've read that Red Demo MX 4k footage is being played back on a Sony 4k projector on the Red Day's via the RED RAY [working title].
At the moment [to my understanding] the RedONE camera's are the only way to write a R3D file.
How is the Demo footage being played back via RedRay? Is this a edit of R3D files to a EDL or has it been transcoded?
Being able to edit then write R3D files via Final Cut/Color/Avid/Redcine would be quite amazing workflow.
