  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RCX PRO build 12

Noobie RedCineX question i am sure, but I cant figure out a way to apply RC3 + RLF to all my clips.
When I save a certain look and apply that to all, it saves all the other metadata as well.
I just want to have RCX apply REDLogFilm + RC3 to all the clips and leave the rest of the metadata of the clip intact so as to not disrupt the DOP's settings.

Any idea how to go about doing this?

I noticed in the last version of RCXpro (build 12) have performance issue.

I work in RCXpro Win 64 with one Red Rocket and everything work great with real-time preview on video monitor since build 12. Now R3D files are constantly stuck in reproduction.

Is there anyone with similar experience?

Under Look Presets, select your saved look and hit the Edit menu beneath it. Click on Look Setup and use the check boxes to choose what does and doesn't get applied.
 
WOW! Great feature. I'm on a job where we are grading each setup, but need to do one parameter tweak to every clip. I was able to make a Look Preset with just the one parameter and apply to all.
FANTASTIC time saver. Thanks Red Team!

Did you you upgrade the RR firmware with succes? Because I got stuck this afternoon trying to upgrade the FW :-(
Tried it on PC and Mac. The script reports succes but after power down and up again (with at least 60 sec wait) the card is still holding the old FW,... Reported this to Red-support, hope to hear something soon.
 
I'm seeing an issue where the last clip in a bin has a random out point set for me. When I open the clip in my current session of RedCine, it doesn't show that an out point has been set. I have to relaunch RedCine and then remove this arbitrary out point.

I've been applying framing and audio to all clips in bin, then exporting all clips in bin.

It only affects the last clip in a bin, which also happens to be the last clip in the roll.

I'm using RedCine on Mac OS 10.6.8. Anybody else having this issue?
 
Does anyone at Red know if or when the Red Rocket will be compatible with the Mac OS and Thunderbolt Magma case, I already know its compatible with Win7 (Bootcamp)?

David, when this occurs could you go to Help - Save Report and email the report to redcinex at red dot com?
