Is there a way to do this that I'm not aware of? Sure would be handy to be able to copy a LOOK and then paste it to any number of cli thumbnails without having to load them in the viewer first. Anyone else agree?

You can just save your look, and then apply it to all/selected clips in Player/Timeline/Bin.

Yes, but that's a lot of extra steps. it would save LOADS of time to be able to COMMAND+C then select clips then COMMAND+V

And you know what TIME is..

This is easy and requires that you make a preset (which you may want to use again), and select clip, click Apply, and you're done. While cutting and pasting may seem a shorter solution, it's not productive in the long run.

Actually in my wokflow it would be way more productive. If every time I have to make a preset, that's a whole extra step.. extra steps add up greatly when you're grading hundreds of clips!

You don't need to make a new preset every time. Use one preset and use the refresh button in the look manager after every change you made. Than select the clips to apply on and apply.

Trust me I know, I'm currently working on a 3D feature with 2 cameras, and I'm very quick. Say you cut and paste your grad to a few clips, you move on, do another cut and paste, and then you see another set of clips that can use an adjustment that you did earlier, now you have to go looking for the previous clip, or start over, but with a preset, you highlight and apply, you're done. I guess it depends on how you work, I make presets so quickly that I never waste time.

Wow, that's handy! Didn't know you could do that. Thanks for the tip!
