YES! Jarred - I love the new custom folder/filename features. Been screaming for that for years - great to see it finally made into RCX! :)

Can someone ask Dan to speak a bit faster as he speaks so slowly it's hard to stay focused on what he is saying :yesnod:

By all means, give the man a Red Bull next time before he makes a video, he seems tired.

I just wish I could figure out why RCX 15 won't export Quicktime files with audio. It's very frustrating.

I'd love to see more in depth documentation on the options. For example, restrict SMPTE range which is vitally important to match levels out of RCX to MXFs- yet I've not seen any documentation about it. I finally discovered that it needs to be checked for Avid MXFs if you want scopes in RCX to match scopes with Avid output. There's a thread about this but it would be nice if some of the common options were detailed in the manual such as Avid MXF, ProresHQ, AvidDNXHD Quicktimes. Example settings for how to achieve accurate color reproduction and most successful results for these formats would greatly help a lot of people and lead to less confusion about RED workflow.

If someone from RED could have a look at the BMD Resolve 9 manual I think it would be useful. It's comprehensive and explains every menu option and how/why it might be used. Very thorough and nicely presented. Then again, Resolve is $995 and RCX Pro is free (although there is Resolve Lite for free).

RCX ROX!

jarred - sometimes it's good to embed the video and post the hardlink just above or below - that way if the embedding isn't working there's at least an alternative

oh yeah, thanks for the site.
