  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RC3/RG2: a good compromise between on-set monitoring and CC starting point?

I'm finding that using this combination (RC3/RG2) in Redcine-X sets a pretty nice starting point for color correction, since it's flatter than RG3 but not as flat as Redlogfilm. While shooting it would yield as well a watchable image for on-set monitoring purposes.

Am I overlooking something? Can it work? Is there a chance that RG2 can be selectable on camera in future firmware updates?

Bob, If I'm not mistaken you got a Samurai, correct?
Since clean SDI is close, I'll possibly buy one. Do you know if it will be possible to output RC3/RLF on SDI meanwhile monitoring RC3/RG3 on lemo connected monitor?
Thanks
