Hello guys. First of all I just wanted to say hello and introduce my self. I’m Saúl Oliveira, a Second AC based in Spain. I take the change to leave you here a link to a new website I just opened with all kind of working stuff including self-made quick guides for cameras like Red One (Epic Guide coming up…).
www.sauloliveira.com/en/
And now a doubt I have about Epic. As I understood, correct me if I’m wrong:
Unlike Red One, in the Epic camera you can have a gamma curve selected (always for viewing purposes) and at the same time activate Raw Check (Raw viewing). While Raw viewing is activated you can still change from one gamma curve to another and see changes in the image and histogram. This didn’t happen in Red One where either you select a curve or the Raw.
Does this mean Raw check only deactivate the Asa correction?
That’s what I saw with the camera but felt so strange that I doubt…
Best Regards to every one.
