Just read a nice article at Studio Daily regarding RAVEN and Scarlet W.

Not much new for hard-core REDusers, but still nice to read the opinion of an outside-the-customer-base reviewer.

Some of the specs and info is slightly wrong. Post implied that the accessories on RAVEN do not work for the other cameras... but they are the same . DUH!

Also, the frame rates, resolution, and compression info is slightly off... Here are the actual resolution:

Scarlet W:
50 fps at 5K Full Frame (5120 × 2700) and 9:1 REDCODE
60 fps at 5K 2.4:1 (5120 × 2160) and 9:1 REDCODE
100 fps at 4.5K Full Frame (4608 × 2412) and 14:1 REDCODE
120 fps at 4.5K 2.4:1 (4608 × 1944) and 13:1 REDCODE
120 fps at 4K Full Frame (4096 × 2160) and 13:1 REDCODE
150 fps at 4K 2.4:1 (4096 × 1728) and 14:1 REDCODE

Hey Matthew, thanks for replying! My guess is a lens mount weighs under .4lbs but I'm not sure of this. More importantly, is the total length (front to back) of the Scarlet-W any longer than the Raven?
