Raven Side Monitor Mount - No Camera Control

Hey Guys,

I already submitted a ticket but wanted to ask the community I had my Raven replace by RED a couple of months ago since then I only used the top mount for my monitor. Well I recently tried to use the side mount where the SSD module is and notice I have no camera control meaning the touch screen is not responding to any area for controlling ISO, FPS etc.

I notice this issue due to me trying to use a wireless transmitter with the camera mounted on my RONIN-MX and I wanted to use the side mount instead of the top and I lost complete video on the RED monitor but the wireless monitor was working fine I remove the wireless and the wooden camera pogo cable and went direct with the RED LCD monitor and try to control my camera and discovered it was not working.

If anyone experienced this issue and have a fix it would be helpful if I have to send back to RED then I will work that out with them.

Is it an HDMI or SDI transmitter? With DSMC 2, you can only run either the side monitor, or HDMI. Not both.

I had the same issue with my E-W and they said it was a current firmware issue they're aware of and recommended a downgrade, which did in fact fix it.

Thank you for this, I had this issue as well and was not the case when I initially got my Raven last year. BTW, what FW are you running.

What version of FW you downgraded too?

Downgraded to 6.3.101. Has been working fine since then.

Thanks guys downgrading to 6.3.101 did the trick. Working Great
