  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven sample footage!

Redundant thread.

Redundant thread.

If you didn't read the initial post, it specifically states that this is an intentional reposting, as some of us only read the Raven sub forum. I feel this first sample footage is well worth the redundant thread, as it's something many of us have been dying to see (as far as I'm concerned, it's the single most important Raven related thread since the 4.5K update).

Nathan, I see your intention, but this is going to unnecessarily split the discussion into 2 threads and end up with a bunch of "already answered in the other thread" responses.

The OGs around here just click "New Posts" and read everything that we haven't seen, instead of manually digging through subforums.

I hear you, and I do apologize if you perceive the re-post as poor etiquette. Keep in mind however that casual/infrequent RU users don't typically use the "New Posts" button. Sub forums are made so that people can quickly check posts that cater specifically to their interests. There will be many causal people who are considering a Raven purchase who won't ever venture anywhere near "Recon", as not all of us here have time to read everything. :)

Again, I apologize, but I feel this is well worth re-posting, and the positives far outweigh the negatives. The more this clip is seen, the more cameras will be sold. If the mods disagree, then I'll certainly understand. :)

This is a beautiful footage but on my mind it hardly say about Raven's capabilities. We don't know how deep was grading on the PP, don't know about noise and dynamic range (the contrast is too high). So I steel keep calm and waiting for real r3d sample.
