RAVEN OPERATION GUIDE

On the Formats page (page72) it lists not only 4.5K 2.4:1 (WS) but also 4.5K FF. This is news, correct?!

Also, I'm thinking its a typo but the manual also states that the Raven will shoot 6K in stills mode...

I mean.. It's there so I'm hoping it's true. Haven't read the operations guide yet. Can someone please confirm!? That would be a cool little update we didn't know before. 4.5K FF :)

FF means the whole sensor area, which is 4608x2160, about 2.1:1 ... a little bit taller than WS. No news here, we already knew that.

6K stills is a typo

Wasn't Raven only able to shoot at 4.5K WS and 4K FF? If it's 4.5K FF as well, that's news to me.

Raven maximum compression ratio of REDCODE. Up to 300fps at 2k 2.4:1

Yes, it shoots FF 4.5K, but remember that FF in Raven's territory means 4608x2160. Which is its full sensor area available. It's something in between 2:1 and 2.4:1 WS. Keep in mind that it is not the usual FF aspect ratio of bigger reds.

So if you need, for example, to deliver in WS, you can shoot 4.5K FF and have 108 pixel over and 108 under for reframing.
