  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyone know roughly when Ravens will be in stock? As in, when can I purchase, and expect the camera to ship out off the shelves that day? September?
Or, anyone know when the latest would be that I'd receive one if I ordered asap?

I guess no one can say for sure when it will be.
But since RED says on their page if you order now you will receive in Fall 2016 it will still be some time.

There might be some dealers with preorders who will have it in stock before that time though.
 
Dude i've been reading this forum for along time, so I will save you the time of searching around, and expecting others to give you an accurate answer. The only answer is that nobody knows, and the only people that would have some what of an idea, work at Red, and cant tell you cause the arent allowed to because they don't even know for sure right now. There are too many variables, too many orders, and its too early to be able to make an educated guess on that right now. I would check in in a couple months, or wait for your Red rep to contact you.
 
I ordered last week and my rep told me Fall 2016, which confirms what's on the site. I wouldn't anticipate it any sooner than that. And technically, fall begins the 22nd of September. October is probably more likely.

I'd love for it to arrive sooner than that, but I think it'd be wise that we manage our expectations here.

Now that the first peoples on that makeshift queue list are getting it, do you still think its January 2017?
In any case, I ordered on April 12, 2016 (before that Fall 2016 delivery notice was up) and I still don't expect it to come in till August/September
 
I actually think by October they'll be stocked and shelved. That's 6 months from initial launch, enough time for them to get up to speed. But I think pre-orders won't be much sooner than that either.
