  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

These are a few frame grabs from a recent test.

I thought things turned out pretty well, considering how last minute this was

i pulled some stills to get try out the new rcx pro as well

They're split this way since it's going on ig and social media

Shot on Raven 120fps 45degree shutter (since i was going to pull stills)

would really suggest a catchlight in her eye on the CU's

Could be something as small as a 1x1 whitecard

you'll be amazed how much this would add to the CU's

Pretty cool!! Love the stills

Thanks ! I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little afraid the 10mp stills wouldn't turn out well

You're not the first to mention this and I absolutely agree !

I just didn't have anything on me and it was a spur of the moment thing

I was probably only really there for a lil over half an hour just figuring things out. There were a lot of photographers there and not nearly as many models

Thanks !

Here are some clips from something new.

Just a random rough edit from stuff throughout the day.

Went out to shoot with a friend to get some shots for my reel as well as some bts content for his vlog

Let me know what you think

No color correction/grading, (except pulling the highlights on the first walking sequence)

DragonColor2, Red Gamma2

It's not getting released anywhere as-is, hence the soundtrack

Something New

Lit with two YN360 wands through a 4x4 frame of diffusion

This was shot on a wall in an apartment (who needs a studio ? ….jk, I'd love one but haven't found a place yet)

Anyone else using these square crops for Instagram ?

I've been using them for a few years and love how they make your images stand out

A little trick I picked up via an Erik Almas video a while ago

Anyhow:

Shot on Raven
4.5k 120fps
DC2/RG3 (I've been hooked on RG3 since I found out it's what they used on Mindhunter. I started playing with it and fell in love)

What are you using to crop and make it square? Instasize? I like the aesthetic too. Amazing image above. Was there a window light coming from frame right? Really dig that!

In this case, since it was a still for ig, i had done it in photoshop out of convenience

Normally, especially if it's video for ig, i'll just do it right inside of resolve

It used to be a little uncomfortable to do it , but now that fusion is builtin it should take 2 seconds
