Second time using the camera ever, inside with full air conditioning and ran into an issue - never been used outside. The internal temperature on the camera shot way up and the fans came on...but the camera wasn't the slightest bit hot. After it shutoff, I rebooted it and then the internal temperature showed 0 and kept shutting off. Took it into the RED HQ (about 20 minutes away) and they ended up having to take it in for warrantee service. The camera only has minutes of recording time on it. Awaiting to hear the prognosis.

Ouch sorry to hear that's unfortunate. I'm sure they'll get you sorted asap. Keep us posted!

Don't worry. You are being taken care of. I remember our Red Epic-m had to be ahipped right back after we received it (5 years ago) due to a faulty sensor. I'm in Norway, but it still only took 10 days before we had it back. It was the 10 longest days of my life though. Anyway, we got the camera back and it has worked great until now.
Shot happens, but RED will take care of you. Don't get too upset

I am sure you will get the camera back in great working condition. My Raven has been a tank so far, I was shooting outside this past weekend for 8+ hrs in the blazing sun and I had no problems.

Oh, not upset by any means. The whole RED staff has been super cool. Just a bummer is all.
