Raven and Streaming

I was trying to connect my Raven to Flash Media Encoder Live using the Blackmagic Design Ultrastudio mini recorder. I connect HDMI to the recorder and then thunderbolt from that into the computer. However I couldn't get FME to recognize the camera. Anybody have any experience with this with other RED's?

Are you trying to live stream 4K?

No, the Raven only outputs 1080 via hdmi/SDI

Ok, cool. My experience with any live streaming is that if the video output of the camera does not match the video input of whatever streaming program that you are using, no signal will be detected. Check your video input settings to make sure they match the output settings on the Raven.

Have you set up your HDMI output in the menu? I don't think it is "on" as default.

Yep I did all of that, I am going to try with SDI to see if that works
