I have a shoot coming up where I'd like to get my Raven on a Movi M10. I have the base io v lock expander. What is the best way to about this and any advice or issues I may run into would be appreciated. Can the M10 handle the camera with v lock battery? Has anyone done this setup specifically? Thanks in advance.

The only issue you may have is it not being able to balance the tilt axis since you'll have a V-lock battery in the back. You going to be using standard Canon EF lenses? You may be able to get it to balance if you have a slim V-lock...if not, I'd recommend running the camera off of D-Tap and having the battery on the top cross-bar. Just goes to show you the importance of testing gear before on set. Hehe

Thanks Chris. I should have a day or two to test beforehand. I think I will go the d tap route. Any other hiccups I might expect? Just want to be as prepared as I can be before getting to testing.

You should be fine, especially if you're going to mount that V-mount up top. The M10 can actually support closer to 12lbs on the actual gimbal, so flying a Raven with Canon EF lens isn't anywhere close to that. Make sure you have like 3 Lipo batteries..MoVI eats through 2-3 in a day.
