Rarevision VHS App - anyone tried this?

I was just playing around with this App and it Is freaking amazing.

don't bother with the crapware free ones that are just a crappy overlay effect - like iMovie film grain pasteons. VHScam is interactive to how you work with the phone.

Yeah I've used this... Entertaining for sure. Actually used a clip recorded with it for a training video I shot for a car dealership. They thought it'd be funny to have the first 5 seconds of the training film have a 80s VHS feel and then BAM it's HD and we're in 2015. Whatever the client wants...!

Red Giant Universe has a fake-VHS plug-in that degrades digital footage fairly convincingly...

No Offense Marc, that Red Giant effect is decent, but it looks like an alpha channel overlay kind of thing, as compared to a procedural rendering - but I could be totally wrong.
