I am putting up my rare 20mm Schneider "Cinegon" PL Mount cinema lens. $3000
There are very few of these around and this one is in fantastic shape (I have only seen 2 others around)
I had Focus Optics (los Angeles) put a PL Mount adapter and .8 gears on Iris & Focus ($1000)
It also has a Pelican Case with custom sized foam to fit this lens ($150)
Focus ring moves very smoothly and the iris works beautifully - it has not been declicked but does still have a .8 pitch gear on it to hook a motor to it which will still adjust iris when needed. Glass appears to be in good condition , some small dust specs and cleaning marks.
I had bought this lens anticipating to do a full cinema rehouse and rebuild but just haven't gotten around to it and I figure someone
else may be more interested in doing it and making it into something really great - or just shooting with it the way it is (which is perfectly usable)
I have tested it on super35mm sensor cameras like the Alexa, Red Dragon 4k and Sony F5 , it is a 1960's ( roughly) era lens so it does have falloff on the edges but has a really great natural low contrast look to it and sharpens up nicely at f4
Available as local pickup in LA and can be tested as well in LA before sale
