This is a SUPER RARE Century Precision Optics Rehoused vintage Kinoptik 9.8mm T2.3. This lens gained its fame as being a favorite of Stanley Kubrick. He used the lens extensively on The Shining and A Clockwork Orange. It is a proper cinema housing, with long 330 degree focus throw, geared focus and iris, PL mount, and standard 95mm front.

OPTICAL - Glass is good for its age. there are some small coatings marks, and cleaning marks. They do not effect the image in any way. No haze. No fungus.

MECHANICAL - Excellent. Recently serviced.

COSMETIC - Excellent. Lens housing is in excellent condition for its age. Engravings are bright and clean. Only some small marks from normal use.
