Heh there,

Looking to pick up a Raptor for a documentary project - one man band, ob doc style - will look to run an on camera shotgun and one/two wireless lapels.
From Red's materials seems like the Raptor-X enjoyed a significant update in audio quality - is this operators personal experience????

I could save significant dollars purchasing a used original Raptor but don't want to add a preamp unit etc for audio if the Raptor audio isn't going to work well.

Ideally I'm just running audio via XLR inputs into the DSMC % pin to Dual XLR unit - however it's a $20k price difference between and used Raptor and a new Raptor-X!

Love any insights
(and yes I know a sound recordist would be great - but it's not happening on this project)
cheers
