Hey guys, shooting some spots on Raptor. looking for clarity on user selectable audio channels. Like with DSMC2 how they made it so we could select Rear Analog on 1+2 and move Camera Internal to 3+4
sorry if this has already been answered but with clients over Zoom meetings, we are only getting Camera Internal out through SDI. Thanks all

As I understand the menu (and manual) CH 1/2 are always for Internal mics. Ch 3/4 are for External mics.

From the manual -

The audio input sources include:

None
Internal Microphone (Ch 1/2) - enables the Internal Microphone (Ch 1/2) menu (default) External (Ch 3/4) - enables the External (Ch 3/4) menu
Internal + External - enables all audio sources

The headphones can only monitor the internal microphone channels (Ch 1 and 2) or the external audio channels (Ch 3 and 4).

So just record the tracks you want.
I don't see any advantage to moving the internal mics to 3/4. Personally I don't record the internals unless I need some wild sound.

Thanks Brian. I dont record the internals either. The biggest thing is that before on DSMC2 we could put 1+2 to Rear Analog and clients who were on the Zoom call away from the set would be able to hear dialogue from the actors being transmitted through the lav to the wireless reciver on my camera rig. Even if we have a long shot where Im far away from the talent and theyre mic'd up, I could transmit that sound through to the zoom call. This doesnt seem to be the case with Raptor. I can't get 3+4 through the Teradek with Raptor but I can with my old faithful Red Weapon MG. Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know what you think

So the Teradek is taking the audio from the embedded SDI output? Then you pass that signal wireless to a patch in to a computer for zoom? Doesn't the audio from 3/4 go to the SDI output?
