Raptor outputting only black screen of death

We just had a problem with our Raptor S35 on the current firmware only outputting black via the SDI and Red Control app. Tried multiple restarts and switching SDI cables with no luck. As we were out in the middle of nowhere with only one camera body on a once in a lifetime shoot with millions of dollars on the line, extreme panic, paranoia, and suicidal thoughts begin to creep in. Anyways, to make a long story short......

The solution turned out to be a HARD REBOOT, turning on the camera while holding down the RECORD button. The more you know....
