Raptor fan noise?

[Emilian Dechev]

Anyone else could tell that their Raptor's fan seems too loud?

No sound guy has complained yet, but still...

Are you running or have you tried the latest beta that added Quiet Record Fan mode?

[Drew Baird]

I haven’t messed with the new quiet record, but I’ve shot with a several different heliums as a B cam, and the helium was noticeably louder in adaptive. The fan noise does register at a different frequency than DSMC2 as well.

It’s been fine for me so far. I’m looking forward to trying out the new settings.
