We are shooting a feature film and have been experiencing problems when recording to CF.
We have been getting a random pattern of colors appear on half the frame the R3D is corrupt and crashes Redalert and Redcine when played. The colors appear to be red green and blue in a leopard skin pattern.
At first after the error appeared we changed cards and the error repeated it self. The problem then disappeared for a few days and now has re appeared but only on one of our cards this time. Our cameras are on 16 - 3.2.5 with the old 8GB module using 8GB cards.
I will post stills of these errors once the producers approve it.
We also shoot to drives but haven't had these problems with drives. Does any body know what these errors are? Or how to avoid them?
