So I've been holding off posting about them until I had an actual ETA. Now I do. They will be in stock February 25th. I know its taken me quite a while to get them to the market, but I kept improving little things until I was happy. The final prototype looks great and I'm excited so say that I'm now doing the first run. The price is still the same, $250 for the base cover. Available from Elementtechnica.com around Feb. 25th.

Thanks for linking that Curran. I was actually looking for that just now. Check out Curran's link for the specs and photos of one of the latest prototypes. The improvements I've made since then are velcro access to the front of the handle pouch so you can get a red arm or other accessories out of the front of it (such as a Red Arm attached to the ET Cheese Stick or the front of a Red Handle.) The arm access points also now feature a strap so that you can tie them off when not in use.

Yes it is. Monday I can probably tell you the exact day, but the 25th is holding so far.

Things are moving as fast as they can. My EVF covers and LCD covers and done, but I'm sure they won't do much good without the main camera cover. My estimate was to have the first 100 done by wednesday (25th). But, looks like it'll be more next wednesday, but hopefully more like next monday. All the subassemblies are complete and they are jumping from sewing to final sealing.

Yup. Just put the first 100 of them back in the shipping department. I'm going to take photos today and get them up on ET's website asap (this week).

I will send out an email blast. They should be on ET's website this week, should be able to get them up tomorrow.

That looks like it would work well as a cold weather bag. Though it would be nice if someone made one specifically for that purpose.

I thought that all you would need to do is made a second set of stencils about 2% smaller and have them put together as a double layer rain bag. The additional trapped air should help quit a bit, and it would be super easy to prototype. For the operator openings all you would need is a bit of velcro or other better solution to quickly open and close them.
