Hello,

My name is Rene from camRade. We are a european bag and cover manufacturer. We are developing a raincover for the RED at this moment.

I would like to know if there is a big demand for this and ofcourse we would like suggestions from RED users. We are looking for a few people who are willing to test this.

Welcome to the forum, Rene.

I have a shoot coming in 2-3 weeks time, which will certainly require a rain cover. I was going to adapt Kata but I would be pleased to try out yours...

Rene,

thank you,

I live in Norway with very variable weather. A raincover would certainly come in handy if the price is right.

i will do a shooting in marseille, we will shoot on a boat and some underwater. It is for a short movie. Is there a sort of cover for humide salty air? I don't talk about underwater, we have box for that, but what about when on the boat shooting. What people would recommend?

thanks,
antoine.

Hi Rene

Heck it's raining here right now. I would be very happy to test your product and do a full review of it on www.finnerknowsbest.com a 3rd party red accessory website that has had very heavy traffic. We will be doing demo video's on all products we recieve. Please check out the website and get back to us.

cheers

Yes!

It would be great to integrate a Blimp solution in your rain cover... a 2 in 1 that can be used indoor as a blimp (not blocking the ventilators) and outdoor as a rain shield... It would be cool too if the material wouldn't be too noisy like plastic but something more like leather...

Laboprod once spoke about a goretex option...

See you.

I will need one for use in Puerto Rico. Would be great if it has as much clear plastic as possible but in particular for viewing LCD.
