Hey Zak,

The big difference is speed,
That RAID is eSATA/FW/USB with 5 drives and in RAID 0 can only push 200MB/s.

That Ultrastor with 16 drives and SAS can probably easily push 500MB/s.
(Which if your running DPX workflows, is great)

If you can take the hit in speed though, seems like a great product.

If that is just 1080 ProRes422, you'll be fine with 200MB/s.

I'm guessing that the long clips on tracks 69-71 are effected or motion controlled such as to reviel the short clips beneath on the other tracks.
Or the editor has Parkinson disease...
