Saw a cool license plate today. Thought I'd share it. Senior citizen lady was driving.

I'm sure the R3DD license plate has nothing to do with the R3D we know. Just a coincidence. I do wonder what that means though.

It was just pretty cool to see it.

Hey folks!!!!!!!!!! I just realized something all RED owners probably know already.

R3D is RED, with the E written as a hacked 3. Boy I feel dumb for just realizing that after all these years.

I swear, I'm really not that slow :)

Hey, if you're a n00b, don't get pwned by a l33t reduser

I'm from the days of 300 baud modem's, 4bit porn, and Timex Sinclair 1000's
with a tape recorder as a hard drive. I was gaining access to people's computers in '96.

But how stupid can I be not to see R3D as RED. Just goes to show you
when the obvious is right in front of your eyes, you sometimes miss the obvious.

Well in Norwegian "to reduce" means "reduser". So everytime I read an ad with a heading about "reducing (this or that)" I first think of this very forum :)

And I also remember having the Datasette for the Commodore 64 (actually, I first tried to build one myself, but that did not quite work out.)

Bad Ass! Much respect. I didn't see the half-nakes woman on REDcine for the longest time myself...

i remember the old 4 bit porn was when her head was square (one color), and the two cool things below her neck were squares of a different color.

By the way for all you gadget nostalgics out there there's a great series on BBC4 called "Electric Dreams" where they put a family through the changing life of gadgets from the 70's to the 90's (sounds naff but it's actually pretty good!):
