Hi all,
we just released our free Spotlight Plugin for RED raw files (.r3d) at pomfort.com!
Having discovered the REDline command line tool a few days ago, we used the experience from our DPX and Cineon plugin to create a Spotlight plugin that lets you take full advantage of the .r3d files' meta data in Spotlight's search index. The RED RAW (.r3d) file format offers production metadata such as various timecode information (TOD TC and Edgecode), production metadata (e.g. clip, reel or camera) as well as tons of recording metadata such as exposure, Kelvin or tint.
So if you already have REDline installed (it's needed for the Spotlight plugin so far), you can download the Pomfort R3D RAW Spotlight Plugin in our Free Stuff section.
Download, screenshots, usage and more info can be found here: http://pomfort.com/spotlightredr3d/
Best,
Patrick
